Hi;

Can you explain in a little more detail what you are trying to accomplish and I can hopefully point you to the right Adobe products or services?

Are you trying to write a resume?

Thanks,

Josh

Can you give me the name of the Adobe product you have?  A screen shot would help too.  Adobe makes hundreds of products.

What format is your resume in?  What is the file type of the resume, is it a PDF, a Word document, or something else?

Thanks,

Josh

Got it.  Adobe Reader is free and it sounds like you have the latest version of Adobe Reader.  Reader supports viewing PDF files, you have a resume in PDF format and what do you want to do with it?  Adobe Reader does not edit or create files (with a few exceptions like form filling, commenting etc, but not authoring a resume).

What happens when you open your PDF resume in Adobe Reader XI and what are you looking for it to do?

Thanks,

Josh

Do you have access to your old computer to get that resume from it?

If you do not and need to recreate one then you would want to use a word processing type of program.  Microsoft Word does cost but there are free alternatives such as Google Docs or Open Office, if you Google "Microsoft word alternatives" there are a lot of articles that run down some good free options.  Once you've created your resume in a word processor you can convert that file to a PDF to send out.

Thanks,

Josh

LATEST

You could log into that older machine and then email the file to yourself or use something like "Dropbox" to upload the file so you can download it from your new computer.

Thanks,

Josh
