Need to export a PDF to Word and preserve existing links

Is there a way to export a PDF to a word document while preserving external hyperlinks in the pdf? I have many long PDFs with hundreds of links each and purchased the Adobe Export PDF product expecting to be able to convert these into word documents.  

Can the Export PDF software convert a PDF with external hyperlinks into a document that contains the same hyperlinks?

Links in a PDF file are not retained when converted to a Word document, not even when done using Acrobat.
