Need to tab each document (Word and/or PDF) being converted/combined into one PDF file. Only have an online account. Can this be done online?
Hi pjj,
When you open the Bookmarks pane (the second icon from the top in the left-most column in Acrobat), you will see a bookmark for each file that was combined to make that PDF. If you created the combined file from Acrobat.com, however, the filenames are altered, so it won't be as easy to tell what's what. If you create the combined file in Acrobat, then the bookmarks retain the file's original name, so your client will be able to tell at a glance whether everything has been included.
Best,
Sa

Hi penelopej37061618,
I checked your account: I see that you have both an Adobe PDF Pack subscription, and more recently, an Acrobat Pro subscription. With both to those, you can combine multiple files into a single PDF. But it sounds like you're asking for more than that. Are you wanting to mark those individual files somehow in the combined file?
Best,
Sara

Hi--
Yes.
My client wants to look at the combined PDF document's first page and, in a side column, read the title of each document that was combined--a quick check to ensure everything needed/required has been included in the file.
He calls it 'tabs'/'tabbing'.
