Not able to open PDF files anymore man

I am running it on a Chromebook. In the past I've been able to produce PDF files to my file album then review them by clicking on them. Now when I attempt to open a PDF file I receive an error code 404 saying that it can find no app to run that kind of file. I have install the acrobat extension in my Chromebook and it still does not open PDF files.

Please share the complete step-by-step workflow. It would be helpful if you could share the screen recording to better understand.
