Not seeing file to do a conversion

All of a sudden, the copy I just scanned does not register in my account therefore I am unable to convert it from pdf to word.

It is in my folder on my desktop, but does not show in my adobe file where I can initiate the conversion.

Hi barbarabsr,

Are you looking for your file at https://cloud.acrobat.com/files? It won't show up there until after you convert it to Word format. So, when you're logged in to ExportPDF, you should navigate to the folder on your desktop that holds the file you want to convert.

Now, if you're trying to convert from within Reader, and the file doesn't show up there, it could be that it doesn't have the right filename extension. Does the file you scanned have a .PDF extension?
