Thanks Florence,
But how do I ³If the PDF file was created from a scanned document, make sure
that OCR (Optical Character Recognition) was enabled when you converted the
PDF file.² All my conversion requests will come from scanned documents so
where do I do this?
Thanks,

Hi sophtex,
OCR is enabled by default, and can't be disabled if you convert via the ExportPDF website. All you need to do there is make sure that the correct language is selected for text recognition. If you convert via Adobe Reader, you can disable OCR, but that is not recommended for your scanned documents (you won't be able to edit the text).
As far as editing the text in Word, sometimes it's just a matter of triple-clicking in the text block that you want to edit. Does that work for you?

Hi Sara,
My name is Sharon.
I have tried everything you have said. If I can get to an edit point , it
is not the document I converted. It doesn¹t have the columns of my original
documents. PLEASE cancel my subscription to this service.
If I have to go somewhere else to cancel this service, pls let me know.
Thank you for trying,

Hi Sharon,
I'm sorry that the subscription didn't work out for you. I've canceled your subscription and processed a full refund, since you've just subscribed in the last few days. However, I noticed that you have another ExportPDF subscription, which was placed last year. It's set up for auto-renewal. I can cancel that one for you as well, but there won't be a full refund associated with it. Would you like me to go ahead and cancel that one as well?

Sara

Sara,
Thank you. don¹t know why that didn¹t come up when I went to convert the
pdf file. I wonder where it was. Yes, kindly cancel that old one too.
Thanks again,
Sharon
