When Using Adobe Document cloud Through SharePoint it works fine. But when we click open in app, it asks to connect to a OneDrive account you type your name in it does SSO and then errors. It has never done this before. I also noticed when you look at the file at the top, itll list the OneDrive account of the user who uploaded the file to the SharePoint Site, even though the file does not exist in OD anymore.

Hi there

Hope you're doing well, and thanks for bringing this to our attention.

From what you’ve described, it sounds like you're running into a problem when trying to open files from Adobe Document Cloud via SharePoint. The files open fine in the browser, but when you click “Open in App,” you're asked to log into OneDrive with SSO—and then you see an error. You also mentioned that the top banner of the document still shows the original uploader’s OneDrive info, even though the file is now stored in SharePoint.

To better understand what’s going on, could you please share a screenshot or a short screen recording of the steps you're taking and the error you're seeing?

This might be happening because of leftover metadata from when the file was originally in OneDrive. Even if it's now in SharePoint, some background info could still be linked to the original uploader.

In the meantime, here are a couple of things to try:

1. Clear your browser cache and cookies, especially if you're signed into multiple Microsoft accounts.

2. Try opening the file directly in the Adobe Acrobat app (not through the “Open in App” button) and see if the same issue happens.

If the issue continues, could you let us know:

1. What version of Acrobat and SharePoint integration you're using?

2. Is this happening for everyone or just some users?

3. Does it happen with newly uploaded files or just older ones?

I've attached a video of this behaviour. This is happening to every user I have tested, in multiple areas of my ORG, I have reset my browser cache, tried seperate browsers. When you add the storage area on SharePoint as a destination in Acrobat to open the file it does open the file. This happens with every pdf added to any SharePoint site. Im not sure what you mean by "version of SharePoint adobe integration" when its just a cloud app assigned and auto updated by Adobe themselves.
