I have an 8 pg pdf that I’d like to use on a website. I’m trying by Optimize the file with Acrobat. Problem is, some of the images are too lo res in the resulting optimized file unless I select Maximum quality for the whole file, making the file too large. Is there a way to optimize specific images to be higher res than others within the new pdf? The original was an InDesign doc created for press-quality print, exported to pdf.

Not directly, but you can extract those pages from the original, optimize them, and then insert the new versions back to the original file, overwriting the old pages.

Thanks. A simple solution. I was definitely overthinking things.
