Page jumping while reading documents?

When you are reading a document in the acrobat.com browser-based reader with scroll pages enabled and reach the end of the page, the document will jump downward, so that the next page is at the top of the screen.

I suppose it's my subjective opinion, but I find this behavior very annoying. It makes it difficult to scroll through a document naturally. This is because I have to remember to read all the way to the end of the page before scrolling far enough to allow the next page to come into view. Otherwise, the last paragraph or so won't be visible because the reader moved the view so that the previous page is not visible and the top of the new page is positioned all the way at the top of the viewer.

I don't think I've ever used any other word processor or document reader that does this. The desktop-based reader doesn't do it, but I don't always have access to it.

Is there an option to change this behavior, so that the document scrolls smoothly through pages?
