Please tell me how to convert a pdf file to a Windows XP word doc

I have just downloaded Adobe Acrobat X1 Pro and no where can I find how to convert a PDF file to a Windows XP word doc. Please tell me how I can do this, thanks in advance.

Open the PDF in Acrobat, then select File | Save as Other | Microsoft Word | (then you select what Word version you want - 97-2003 [.doc], or 2007+ [.docx]).

Thanks Pat, now all I need to know is how do I open the pdf file in Acrobat X! Pro?  I am new to this program and am a bit lost. thanks in advance for your information.

Start Acrobat Pro (Windows: use the START menu. Mac: use Launch Pad). Use Open from the File menu.

Or the way I usually do it: locate the file using Windows Explorer, right-click on it and select 'Edit with Adobe Acrobat'.
