Printing to Adobe PDF problem

New Here ,

CS3 suite installed on Windows XP.  When trying to print to PDF, I get the following:

create Adobe PDF.JPG

If I reboot the computer, it will fix itself and run fine for a few days, and then I get the message again.  I have tried "repairing" the installation via the Windows Control Panel, but it doesn't seem to fix it.  I don't get this problem on my Laptop installation of the same software using Windows 7. Does anyone have a clue?  Everything else within the CS3 platform seems to work ok.

Perhaps so,e Acrobat update messes with this, but well, at that point Win XP is dead as in really dead, so anything is possible.

So are you suggesting that If I could upgrade my OS to Win 8 it would fix it?  Win 8 was dead on arrival.

I have the exact same problem but am working on Windows 7. It actually started around the same time as yours. Did you find a solution? I'm considering reinstalling...

I have the same problem with Windows 10. I can't get the distiller to stay open, either.
