Problem with box border format with Word doc. PDF conversion does not produce the boxes. This same doc file when converted last August did produce the boxes. Now it does not. Has something changed in the cloud program for doing conversions from doc to pdf??? These are boxed produced using Format / Borders and Shading, then clicking on "Box" or "Shadow".

What you have explained above, If I understand correctly this is the same document that you are converting now using the Export PDF functionality? And you are using this service online via- https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf ?
Try the same through desktop application Adobe Acrobat Reader DC- Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions
As its file specific issue, so can also email the file to us. We would check the same at our end to see whether issue is reproducible or not.

How does that help? Reader only reads files, does not convert. My reader can read the boxes fine on my previously converted files.

I can do that. But your email address is "forums_noreply@adobe.com". Will that noreply work?
Actually, you can just quickly create a one line Word doc and format the border as a box. I just did that and this new problem still happens in the cloud conversion - doc boxes do not convert any more.

There is a box at the top of page 3.
That pdf version was converted from that doc version last May using my Adobe cloud account, and the box on page 3 is fine.
You can download that doc version and see for yourself that the box now does not convert.
My actual problem is with my genealogy book, which has dozens of boxes, 2.3 MB file:

I also tried docx today; it has the same problem.

This box problem is gone today. My documents get boxes OK. I'm doing everything the same. I'm curious: did someone at Adobe fix this bug?

Hi Peterg,
Sorry about the delay in response to your previous message. As you are a subscriber of PDF Pack subscription which can be accessed online as well as desktop application Adobe Reader DC and that is the reason I have suggested to check through that.
2- Sorry that was skipped to mention that I did share the email address via private message to send the file.
As you have mentioned in the last message that all of the sudden it started working fine and you can see the conversion as its used to be earlier. I assume there might be some temporary issue which was causing trouble conversion format.
However, there isn't any issue reported by any other customer or neither any further changes done form our end which has fixed the problem.
As its working for now, then let us know if you experience the similar issue again.

No, e-mailing will not work. You may, however, share a file via dropbox or similar. I suggest creating a special file, containing only the problem part.
