I have a similar problem.  I'm going from a desk DC app that I've paid $23 for a PDF to Excel conversion and it totally loses continuity.  About half of the data is converted as an image instead of data.  Can I get my $23 back or applied to something that does work.

Hi dad1nm,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are facing issue when converting pdf file to excel, is that correct?

The quality of converted document depends on the type of pdf you start with. Which means the content of your pdf document will come up as result in exported file.

Could you let us know if the pdf file you are exporting, does it contain real text or it has image in it?

Or  Is it a scanned document?

Also check: Can't edit converted Word or Excel file

You may also refer to the following forum thread discussing the issue similar to yours:

Coversion from PDF to Word is still treating text as images, cannot edit text

Converting PDF to Excel or Word displays image instead of text

Thanks,

Shivam
