I edit PDF files in Adobe Reader, then upload them to acrobat.com to open up on a different device. I've been able to do this with no problem for months, until the last couple days. Now every time I go to upload an edited PDF file, I get the message "An error occurred while trying to access the service." This occurs whether I'm using my laptop or iPad. I'm not doing anything different. Why the sudden problem?

I am experiencing the same problem. I don't have a solution for you though. For me it seems as though the problem is when it trys to access a virus scanning service. Very frustrating ...

Hi,
Are you using Adobe Reader on Mac?
We had some problems last week but it is up and running now.
We apologze for the inconvenience.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I actually am editing PDFs on my PC laptop. I'll edit on the laptop for a while and then when I'm ready to switch to a different device, I'll upload it from my laptop to acrobat.com then open up in my Kindle or iPad. I've been able to do this for months with no problem until recently. As of today, I'm still getting the same error message.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
It seems that this error happens when we save the edited PDF file in a local hard disk once from Reader using File > Save As(without changing file name) then try to upload the edited file to Acrobat.com by clicking "Save" button under "Store Files" in Reader.
Please try below:
(A)
1. Openyour PDF file stored in Acrobat.com in Reader
2. Edit the PDF file
3. Save(upload) the file to Acrobat.com without saving the file in your local hard drive.
(B)
1. Open your PDF file stored in Acrobat.com in Reader
2. Edit the PDF file
3. Select File > Save As then rename that file then save it to your local hard drive
4. Save(upload) the file to Acrobat.com
Please let me know if this works or not.
Thank you for your patience.
