Unable to edit PDF files using Adobe PDFPack

New Here ,
Mar 06, 2018 Mar 06, 2018

I have the Adobe PDF pack.  I used to be able to edit PDF documents (as recently as a couple of weeks ago).  My membership recently renewed for $75.00, but I can no longer edit PDF files.  When I attempt it suggests I purchase Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  Did they remove the edit PDF capability from my ADOBE PDF pack subscription?

Hello Palousejohn,

As per the description above, you are not able to edit a PDF file using the Adobe PDFPack subscription, Is that correct?

With Adobe PDFPack subscription, you can:

  • Convert documents and image files to PDF
  • Combine multiple documents into one PDF
  • Export PDFs to editable Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or RTF formats
  • Fill and sign PDF forms fast with smart autofill
  • Get signatures from others, then track and manage responses
  • Send, track, and confirm delivery of important documents
  • Store and share

Hello Palousejohn,

As per the description above, you are not able to edit a PDF file using the Adobe PDFPack subscription, Is that correct?

With Adobe PDFPack subscription, you can:

  • Convert documents and image files to PDF
  • Combine multiple documents into one PDF
  • Export PDFs to editable Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or RTF formats
  • Fill and sign PDF forms fast with smart autofill
  • Get signatures from others, then track and manage responses
  • Send, track, and confirm delivery of important documents
  • Store and share files online,

But you cannot edit a PDF file using Adobe PDFPack, for this, you need Acrobat Pro, see Adobe Acrobat Pro DC: PDF converter, convert PDFs from anywhere.

You can access the services of Adobe PDFPack through https://cloud.acrobat.com/convertpdf with your Adobe ID and password on a browser like Chrome, or Firefox, or Safari.

You can also access the services through the free desktop version of Adobe Reader, just "sign-in" with your current Adobe ID and password in Adobe Reader.

Note: Editing a PDF with AdobePDFPack is only possible if you have Adobe Reader app installed on an iPad, and you can edit normal PDF(non-scanned).

For troubleshooting, you may refer to Troubleshooting Create PDF, Export PDF, Adobe Send, Fill & Sign … services(PDFPack or Document Cloud...

Feel free to update this discussion for any further assistance.

Regards,

Anand Sri.
