When sending an Acroform via the DC email feature, Outlook frequently hangs and requires a restart. Is this a known problem?
I am using Acrobat DC 645bit with Windows 7 and Outlook 2016
Hey KevinTucker,
Sorry for the delay in response to your query.
As shared, while sharing PDFs using attach to email option of Adobe Acrobat DC Outlook frequently hangs, does it happen with every file that is being emailed or file size matters here?
Check the following troubleshooting steps-
1- Check if you haven't got the Acrobat's latest patch installed. Open Acrobat>Help>Check for update

3- Make sure that you have got all the MS Office updates installed too.

Thanks Akancha, afraid that has not worked, it is quite bizarre.
All Outlook/Office patches are up to date
Acrobat is up to date
Your item 2, tried it, didn't work
it is almost as if there is a missing line of code telling Acrobat to disconnect from Outook once the form is attached, or Sent or vice versa because closing Acrobat down post attachment/clicking Send will wake up Outlook or the email service in use.
I see from the Forums this is also a problem on Mac and do not get me started on Edge and Chrome browsers!
I recently tried this on iPad with the PDF Expert app and the form worked perfectly.
So, over to you.
Thanks again
Kevin

Hey Kevin,
Sorry, I couldn't reach out to you on time. Hoping that Acrobat's latest update has fixed this problem by now? If not, then try installing the latest patch of Acrobat DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products and let us know if that makes any difference.
Thanks,
Akanchha
