I have received my invoice and payment was successful. Received only order number not a serial number. I followed the order number link in the email and installed the software. However every time I try to access my Acrobat Pro DC it says trial period expired and I have to buy. I did install the software as per the email instructions. Where do I go to activate my software.
I do not have a serial number only order number ?

After checking the details of the adobe ID associated with profile, I see you have Acrobat Pro DC Subscription. With a subscription you don't need a serial number.

Creative Cloud uses your Adobe ID rather than a serial number.
Please login and confirm that your account shows the proper subscription with your Adobe ID: https://www.adobe.com/account.html
Next, sign out and back in to Creative Cloud with the same Adobe ID: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
If you updated to Creative Cloud 2015 and all or some of your CC apps show "Start trial or Buy Now" in Creative Cloud desktop application, or if you launch any CC 2015 product and the pop up shows a Trial message window, please see this link for resolution:
