Why are all my font and text sizes changed from the original document? It's a complete mess!

In case I didn't explain, was trying to convert a pdf to a Word document ... and it's all been corrupted as described above! Help: am I missing a trick? alison

I don't think you're missing anything. The quality of the converted file depends on the quality of the PDF. Please see: Will Adobe ExportPDF convert both text and form... | Adobe Community.

If the PDF was created by as non-Adobe application, it may not be written to spec, and that can affect the conversion. If you don't know how the PDF was created, you can find out by choosing File > Properties in Reader and looking for the PDF Producer on the Description tab.
