Why can I not edit this conversion to Word? It has remained as an image

I now have a Word docx, converted from a PDF that I created by scanning a hard-copy print, and I want to copy and edit sections text in the Word docx text. How can I do that?

Hi dtereshchuk.

ExportPDF performs optical character recognition (OCR) by default when it converts files, so it should have converted that image text in the PDF created from a scanned document to editable text. Try triple-clicking in the text block that you want to copy--that should enable you to select the text.

Please let us know how it goes.

Best,
Sara
