Why does it say sign in error when i try to convert a PDF file?

Hi Doratheat35483998,

Could you confirm how you have been trying to convert the PDF? Is it online or through desktop application Adobe Reader DC?

If you are working online via https://cloud.acrobat.com/  then you may try with a different web browser.

Or if you are working with the desktop application Adobe Reader DC then you may check whether you are "Signed In" in the application before converting the document or not?

Check at upper right corner.

Also, turn the security software off (If there is any)
