Why doesn't the Acrobat Select button work to select part of a webpage in IE?

Hi,

I just purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and cannot use the Select feature available in Internet Explorer. I click on it but nothing happens. I'm trying to select part of a web page to convert into pdf. The Convert button works fine but not the Select button which is what I really need. Help!

Thanks,

Stephanie

Hi chancie9786,

What version of IE are you running? Have you tried clearing the browser cache? Does the problem occur on any web page where you're trying to select just a portion to convert to PDF? Or is it specific to a particular page?

So many questions, I know! But your answers will help us get to the heart of the problem.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Best,
Sara

Hi Sara,

Thanks for the quick reply! I have Internet Explorer 10. Yes, the problem

occurs no matter which page I try the Select feature on.

I cleared the cache twice and it's still happening. I closed IE and then

reopened it before I tried again. I did this twice also.

Here is the page that I'm trying to work on:

http://www.oahu-concierge.com/arizona-memorial-pearl-harbor.html

My goal is to just select the center content so that I omit the left and

right nav bars and the header.

When I click the select tool I'm not getting the little pointer that

highlights the area. I just have the regular highlighting. I've watched a

video or two from Adobe and read that section of the manual but it's not

working

Thanks,

Stephanie
