Wny can't I open all email attachments?

I have a new asus pc and recently find I can open some email attachments on adobe....but not others?I have windows 8.1.

Hi mortonthomas,

If you save those other non opening attachments to your desktop first and see if you are able to open those.

Also, are those non opening attachments PDF documents? Also, let me know which application of Adobe you are using?

If you are getting some error, i would suggest attach screen shot of error. That will help me understanding the issue better.
