Adobe Distiller Error 183

When I sign on to my Windows 7 computer I get an immediate error "Unable to create temporary folder. Error 183.

Cannot create a file when the file  already exists. How do I get rid of the error. It seems to be affecting many of

my files.

Hi Puppetlady940,

This error ususally comes up when Distiller is trying to create a file in the Windows Temp directory in a file called Adobe Distiller. Try giving the permissions to the user account for this folder and the problem should go away.

OK....I hate to admit my ignorance, but how do I do that?

Will that affect my Acrobat Reader also - which doesn't work properly, and

which won't let me print from Acrobat Pro 9. And I now can't get anything

to print from either of my printers from my PC. It all started with this

"Distiller" problem.
