Is this conversion tool within Microsoft's Excel product, or is it part of an Adobe owned product?

I just purchased the annual adobe pdf export service, order number ADB020357869. I have a .pdf bank statement that I used it to convert to MS Excel. When I opened up the spreadsheet using MS excel it was garbage.
i can send you both the source pdf doc and the spread if that will help

Thanks.
How would I go about getting a refund if it doesn’t work?

It looks like they've moved the question to the correct location now. Unfortunately, my expertise is in the Experience Cloud and thus don't know of the process by which you could request a refund. Now that your question is in the correct community, the other power users and moderators should be able to provide more useful responses.
Cheers,
Jantzen
