I occasionally send a PDF to a colleague and when I check my downloads, I will find four or five downloads of the PDF.  I would like to be able to limit the download to one or two at the most.  IS THERE A WAY TO DO THIS??

I don't believe that's possible, and even if it were once the file has been downloaded by one person they can share it with others and there's nothing you can do about it (unless you invest a lot of money in DRM protection).

I assume you are using the send and & track functionality build into Adobe Acrobat? If that is the case, I'll move your question over to the Acrobat community since it's currently posted in the Adobe Experience Cloud section of our community forums.
