How do I disable the Document Cloud message?  I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 Release (Classic) | Version 2017.011.30079 on a Mac.

I disabled the following settings in Preferences → General

  • Basic Tools
    • Show online storage when opening files
    • show online storage when saving files
  • Messages from Adobe
    • Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat

Hi Tnayak,

Thanks for sharing the detailed information and the steps you have followed.

What you see on the application's screen is are the promotional message for Document Cloud storage/services because it doesn't come up with the Acrobat Pro (Classic) versions.

To disable these messages, you may refer to this customization wizard document and follow the steps as suggested.

Online features — Acrobat Customization Wizard DC for Windows

Let us know if it still doesn't work after changing the registry key.

Regards,

Akanchha

Hi, thanks for your response.  Unfortunately, your answer won't work for me because I'm on a Mac.
