How to set an EXPIRATION DATE on a password I set up for clients to use with PDF documents I share with them?

The PDF files I share with clients are part of a licensing agreement. I need an END DATE for their use of the documents I share with them. When the password "expires," I DON'T want to give them the option of resetting their own password.

You would need to use DRM technology to do something like that. Adobe offers it, but it is extremely expensive.
