When I download a file (as a pdf document) it appears on my desktop.  QUESTION:  How and where should I save the file?  I can never retrieve it from my PC, even tho it has automatically been saved SOMEWHERE.  Thank you!

Hi cja53309913,

When you download the file, it goes to the default download location set in the web browser. You may try changing the default download location in the web browser to the one which you can access easily on your computer, for ex- Documents folder on the computer.

In Google Chrome, you can change the download location by going into the Settings>Advanced settings.

Below is the screenshot:

Or you can select the location when saving file on your computer.

For ex, in Google Chrome, when saving a pdf, you can select "Documents" or any other folder to save the file to that folder and click Save.

Let me know if you have any questions on this.

Thanks,

Shivam
