Will PDF forms allow for editable fields that the user can fill by cutting and pasting from another document or location? Can users edit the font color/size/highlighting in these editable fields? Does it offer a spell check feature for the fields that users have edited? Will users be able to use the form if they only have Adobe Reader and not Adobe Pro?

Hi Debbieg,
As you have some question regarding the PDF form, you can find the answers to your questions below.
1. Will PDF forms allow for editable fields that the user can fill by cutting and pasting from another document or location?
- Yes, you can fill the form fields by cut and paste the information from some alternate document or other files.
2.Can users edit the font color/size/highlighting in these editable fields?
- The users can only fill in the information, there is no option for them to change the color, size and highlighting in the form fields.
3.Does it offer a spell check feature for the fields that users have edited?
- While filling the PDF form, the spell check feature is available in the application.
4.Will users be able to use the form if they only have Adobe Reader and not Adobe Pro?
- If by "able to use" you mean able to fill the form, yes, they will be able to fill the form even if they only have Adobe Reader.
It is not required to have Acrobat Pro to fill a PDF form.
Hope the information helps.
Let us know if you have further questions.

The key thing is to define what you mean by "use". Some people focus on typing in the form and assume a whole bunch of things (such as saving, emailing, submitting, signing, flattening, splitting or more) will "just work" in all software.
