Preserving bookmarks when I combine PDF files. How do I do that?

I am combining PDF files that contain bookmarks.  How do I combine them to preserve all of the bookmarks?  I am having trouble with loosing my bookmarks after I combine a few files.

What version of Acrobat are you using to combine pdf files?

I use PDF Split (Pdf Split and Merge with Bookmark Import download | SourceForge.net ) and it works fine with me. try it and let us know if it works with you
