If yes, please let us know the Adobe application you are using to open the PDF.

Share the screenshot of the password prompt you receive on opening the PDFs.

Could you please confirm if you get the sign-in prompt even if you have not signed out from the application last time you used it?

Please share the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and OS version on the machine. To check the application version, you may use the steps suggested here https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html
