Unable to edit the file

Export PDF converted our file to Word very nicely, and saved it to the desktop.  However, we are unable to get it into Word itself and are therefore unable to edit the file.  What are we missing here?

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are unable to open converted word file into MS Word and as a result unable to edit the file, is that correct?

Could you let us know what issue you are facing when trying to open converted file in MS Word?

What happens when you try to open the file?

When we do "Save As," MS Word is not enabled.  The best we can do is save it to MS Office (our version is 2011).  But we have found another conversion method and canceled our subscription.  So thanks for your willingness to help, but I guess it's a dead issue at this point.
