Unable to open .pdf files through Adobe Reader, as its showing with IE icon.

ho provato a reinstallare Adobe su un nuovo pc in quanto il vecchio pc si è rotto, e mi fa scaricare solo la versione DC che nulla ha a che vedere con il vecchio adobe che ho usato fino ad un mese fa, mi salva tutti i documenti non in pdf ma in un file internet explorer. cosa posso fare

Hi Donatog,

Looking at the information shared above, if i understand correctly you have downloaded the latest version of Adobe Reader which is Adobe Reader DC. You might have been using Adobe Reader XI earlier, which is an older version of Adobe Reader.

If all of your saved pdf files have changed the icon from Adobe Reader to internet Explorer, then there is a possibility that in absence of Adobe Reader the default application to open .pdf file has changed from Adobe Reader to IE.

In order set the Adobe Reader back to the default pdf viewer, you may follow the steps suggested here-

Associate PDF files to always open in Acrobat or Reader on Windows 10
