What happened to the save button in Acrobat DC? How do I save my files to my local drive?

I scanned some files this morning through Acrobat DC and went to save them to my computer and the save button was gone.  The only button showing is the cloud button.  Where do I find those files and how do I save them to my local drive?

Hey

Hope this works for others.

I uninstalled the application.

Once removed, I navigated to my appdata folder (%appdata%)

From here i removed adobe files from Local,Locallow and Roaming.

I reinstalled AdobeDC and it started working 🙂

Hello Annbcedarswoodworking,

Sorry for the delay in response to your query and apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Please navigate to Edit>Preferences>General> Uncheck these two options:

  1. "Show online storage  when opening files."
  2. "Show online storage when saving files."

Uncheck the options, close and relaunch the Acrobat Pro DC and check if this makes any difference.

If the issue still persists, please check for the latest updates of Acrobat Pro DC from Help>Check for updates. You may also repair the installation file from Help>Repair installation.

Hope this helps, and keep us posted with the results.

Regards,

Anand Sri.

Hi
I am having issues today saving my PDFs from Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
I have never seen this problem before.
I have tried the above solutions but that has not helped.
Basically when I open the "save as" dialogue box, the "save" button can be clicked but is dead.  I can click on it but it won't work.
The "cancel" button beside it is dead also.
At times there appears to be a black rectangle around these two buttons.
If I double click on them, it opens a brother website for inks and toners.  This just does not seem right.

My save button disappeared as well.  First, I made sure I was actually signed into my Adobe account. Then under Help I clicked on Repair Installation.  That seemed to do the trick.
