Adding Signatures to Acrobat

Occasionally I need to add my wife's signature, or my nurse's signature, to a document .... how do I add signatures other than my own to Acrobat?  I've been using PDFPenPro for the Mac, but they've been bought by another company w. poor support .. and hoping I can use Acrobat from now on.,

Are you using the Acrobat or the Acrobat Sign?

It would be helpful if you could share the complete workflow for a better understanding.
