Adobe Sign Text Box Character limit

New Here ,
Oct 26, 2017 Oct 26, 2017

Hey all,

When creating a form in Acrobat Pro we are setting a character limit in each required text box. However, when I upload this form as a template into Adobe Sign it seems to remove this limitation when detecting the boxes.

When sending it out to be filled we are getting people type past the viewable area meaning once signed and sent back we cannot see half of what was included.

We have reduced type sizes but alas this also is not a fix.

Are we missing something or an option to limit the space available once uploaded into Adobe Sign?

Acrobat field formatting is not support in Adobe sign field. You need to use Adobe Sign form field syntax to provide such validation/formatting.
