I use AdobeSign constantly for signatures, usually opening the document in the app, adding the email addresses, setting the fields, then sending. Ever since the update, the desktop app just freezes after I enter the email address. It goes back to the document, but there is no way to set the fields and send.
I have been working around it by going to the online document center, but that is really a pain.
Why doesn't this work anymore??

Also - when using the online version to send out the document, the fields don't work corrrectly. Specific example: I just sent out a document for signature to myself and one other person. I set the date field and assigned it to myself. When I went in to sign, the field had reverted to a free text field.

Please let us know if you are referring to the Acrobat desktop application update. Share the Acrobat and OS version on the machine.
As mentioned, the application freezes when you add the email address. Could you please share the screen recording of both the desktop and the Online account issues?
We will replicate the behavior on our end.
