After signature, the fillable PDF is emailed as an attachment. Can the attachment not be sent?

After a fillable PDF form is completed and signed, an email is generated for me and the person filling out the PDF form. This seem to be insecure as an attachment. Can the attachment be removed to force each person to view the attachement through Adobe?

After discussing with Adobe support, I don't believe this is possible. I'm told it goes through a secure channel within Adobe. But once it get put on and email and the PDF is attached, its in the clear. So I'm not confortable sending PDF's with sensitive data.

 

Anyone else have a solution or idea?

It seems that you are referring to the PDF attachment sent via email to each signer and sender after all the recipients sign the document.

It is possible to disable the PDF attachment. However, the feature is not available with your current plan.

The option to remove the PDF attachment is available with the Acrobat Sign Team, Business, and Enterprise plan.
