Hi,

I frequently have documents that I want to date after the parties sign them (say, Oct __, 2019, and then fill in the blank when the parties are ready to close a deal).  Is there a way to allow the dating of a document after the parties have signed the document?

Hi Lukec,

As you need to add the date in the form after the parties sign the document, you may add the form field for it and add yourself as the last recipient.

Once the document is signed and filed in Adobe Sign, the document gets encrypted. You cannot make any changes in that document.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Hi Janet36236742hvxg,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the delay in response.

Please let us know more about your workflow. How will you be filling out the form?

Are you sending this document for signature or just filling it? More information will help us to understand what you are trying here and to share the correct steps.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
