HIPAA requires business associates to enter signed agreements with covered entities. In order for me to use Echo Sign for the storage of medical information, I need a signed HIPAA BAA. Does Adobe offer to sign a BAA?

I contacted Adobe support and they told me Adobe signed a BAA with Adobe Sign, therefore Adobe is HIPAA complaint. I tried to explain that I needed a BAA signed between my medical group and Adobe Sign/Adobe and they told me "There is no need to do anything its already BAA certified." I explained to them that, that answer did not really solve my issue and they told me "Adobe have already sign an agreement with BAA." SMH
I don't think they understand what I am asking for... I am planning to cancel my account and use an alternate service for my medical practice.

We've had this exact issue with Adobe and also had to seek another source. I bet Adobe would make a much bigger profit if they would simply offer the BAA.

BAA is offered only under Adobe Sign Enterprise plan, if you have any other type of account you will have to upgrade. Once upgraded BAA can be requested.

That is ridiculous. I am a single person private buisness. I don't need enterprise! Who can I talk to about changing this?

It sounds like Adobe does not understand the HIPAA regulation at all. Probably best for Covered Entities to avoid your services for anything involving PHI.
