Hi Team,

Just wanted to know if the signer of the document has the capability to decide where to sign / multiple places to sign the document. we have a requirement where esign would be integrated with our system and will route the document to the signer for taking an action but how does the system helps signer to drag and drop the signatures to a place in the document even if the signer do not have the esign account.

All field placement, including signature fields, must be completed prior to the agreement being sent for signature, or you will get the default signature block placed.

The Signer has no authority to place fields within the transaction.

There are three options:

  • The document must have fields placed on it (as text tags or PDF fields)
  • The Sender must place the fields (via Authoring)
  • The system automatically places a signature block at the end of the document (Not what you are looking for, but an option).

Based on your description of integrating Adobe Sign with your systems, I would assume that you want to use option 1, creating your own forms, and then attaching them (probably via API).
