Client using DocuSign can't sign my Adobe Sign Document

Some of our clients use DocuSign. Sometimes they require us to sign a document first and email them the file. We sign through Adobe SIgn but they can't sign our document using DocuSign. Is there a way so that they can do that?

Hi OlmanGonzalez,

If you send the document via Adobe Sign, signer receives an email with the link to document.

That link opens the document in Adobe Sign interface to fill and add a signature to it.

It is not possible to send a document to other application using Adobe Sign.

However, there is a workaround that you can use.

The signer can download the document at there end and then they can use any application to add a signature to the document.

After that, they can send the file via email address and you can upload the signed document in Adobe Sign.

Hope that helps.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Meenakshi

Thanks Meenakshi. However the client wants to receive the document via email. They want to sign using docusign and they won't use the link to download. Our workaround to unlock the security is to print to XPS, then back to PDF and send that out to the client, but I'm just looking for a way to make it easier for all parties.
