Is there a way that when the data fields are filled in by the recipient it is auto capitalized ? for example if they were to type in adobe sign it would change it to Adobe Sign? I have tried using regular expressions in the data validation sections however this just means the field is an error until the participant themselves types the data with the fist letter being a capital which it not ideal?

I expect you would need to use Javascript in the form field. I am unsure of how much Javascript is supported within the Adobe Sign environment.
