document cloud esign services - Modify a signed document.

New Here ,
Aug 27, 2015 Aug 27, 2015

I have a client who uses Acrobat pro to assemble 10 contracts into one document and then uploads that document for echosign signatures which are easier for the client.  When he receives the signed document, he wants to break that document back into 10 separate documents again.  This process asks for a password to complete, which he has not set up.  Is this a product of echosign protecting the now leagaly signed document?

Support says...

"You will only be able to edit documents that you have uploaded with preview, position signatures enabled"

The client has verified that this box is always checked when uploading documents.

Thanks for any help!

Hello,

There is a setting to get separated signed documents once the signer has esigned it. lets say you attached 10 files and once the signer esigns it, then the single document is again broken into 10 files.

The feature is available in Business account ( Enterprise and above) and if you are using Global trial as well, then you can enable it by going to Accounts->Account settings->Global settings and check "Keep document separated".

Hello,

I am also wanting to separate documents after they have been signed. I utilize a DC Premium eSign services P2 account, but I cannot find the Accounts tab that you are referencing.  Where can I find this?

Thank you,

Vernessa
