I have a report that has been digitally signed and stamped. When I open the report, the digital stamp and signature is grayed out and you cannot see them. Additionally, when you click on it to verify, it asks for it to be signed. Here's the kicker, when you look at the same exact file in the email preview pane, you can see the digital stamp and signature just fine. Why can I not see it when I open the file but can see everything in the preview?

First of all, this is the wrong section in the Adobe Support Community forum, "Adobe Acrobat Sign" is a special online signing service of Adobe and your document appears not to have been signed using that service. But I assume moderators will move your message. Thus, I'll answer here nonetheless.
Unfortunately you didn't share the PDF itself, so we have to guess.
Often symptoms like you describe indicate that the signature field in question has been signed (there is a signature appearance at least) but that that signature field is incorrectly linked in the PDF object structure, so that Adobe Acrobat considers it unfilled.
It also is possible that the PDF structure as a whole has errors. In that case different PDF viewers may repair those errors differently when loading the PDF and, therefore, display the PDF differently.
If you shared the PDF, we could analyze the issue and tell you what's wrong.
If you cannot share the PDF due to sensitive data in it, please contact the signer and together try to reproduce the issue with a document with test data.
