Duplicating wording in a cloned box

I have issued 2 report for clients to sign. I added in a "text Input" box and cloned this.

Why does that clone any words the clients type?

I have been rather daft...!

There's an option to clone and an option to copy, I have clicked the wrong option.

There isn't a problem with Adobe, just my eye sight.
