How to Keep Original Form Fields After Using Adobe Sign

Hi all-

I am having the hardest time figuring this out.  I have created a PDF fillable form with drop down menus, signature fields, text boxes, etc. After my customer completes the form with text, I then route it to our management team for signatures via Adobe Sign.

When uploading it to Adobe Sign, the platform states there are multiple errors. To process the document, I need to delete the fields, which I do to get it routed. However, when I get it back the form is locked due to secruity reasons, etc. I cannot make any more edits (I can even use the "comments" tool).

Is there a way that I can route the document through Adobe Sign and, when completed, the fully executed document still possess text fields, drop down menues, etc?

Hi daniel.valladee,

Thank you for reaching out.

If you are referring to the fact that the options in the document still work after it is signed and filed, it is not possible.

Would you mind sharing more information about the workflow on how you send the document to customers?

Share about the error that appears when you send it via Acrobat Sign.

Share the document or a sample file with us to replicate the behavior if possible.

We will check it on our end and share our findings.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
