How to test if a transaction ID is valid

Hello,

I need to check if a signed documment is valid and is not modified for legal purposes ?

How can I do that ?

Hello Consultorpc666,

The signed documents are protected with CDS certificates and is not possible to break the security. Even if someone tries to do that, a notification bar is shown on top of signed PDF that it has been tempered. Here is the documentation for help:

Thanks, but we need to know if a document ID is valid so a third party can check it for legal purposes. Maybe there is other method.

So simple that I often wonder why Adobe agents don't just give you the answer.
If you have the transacton ID, go to https://secure.echosign.com/verify and enter the ID.  If it is valid, it will provide you access to the Audit report (typically created in Adobe Sign when processing documents).

Thanks. That´s an alternativa to confirm but it seems insuficient to prove other details of the signed document since it only confirms if the Transaction ID is valid or not. I think to confirm the validity of the transction ID they needed to show more details such as date of signature, document name, etc. Docusign provides the full document when you enter the Transaction ID so you are sure what document that Transaction ID refers to
