I need to account for two different signatures in an eSign document.

I have a document that requires signatures from two parties (primary and spouse). By default, every signature field assumes the same Participant Role. If two or more Signature fields are assigned tot he same Role, then they all take on the same properties and display the same signature. I assumed I could change the spouse signatures to a different Role, but doing so turns the signature field into a standard text field.

What is the correct way to

It seems that the roles are not defined correctly to form fields. You can refer to below documentation:
