What we understood that when you send a document for signature, you get any verification email at your end? There isn't any acceptance or verification required for the signer to complete the signature process. The signer can sign the document without any permission or verification by the sender.

You might be getting auto generated notification that the document has been signed. For more clarity on this, you can share the screenshot of the message that you get at your end.
